Position Summary
We are looking for an Infrastructure Architect with considerable experience in Azure's IaaS and PaaS technology. With your social and technical skills, you will provide guidance, insight, and direction on everything from roles and responsibilities to engineering methodologies and best practices.
Your primary focus will be to lead digital transformation initiatives and guide our customers through strategic and operational challenges related to cloud infrastructure. This could mean cloud adoption, monitoring, and technical road mapping in tight collaboration with technical teams and IT leaders, with the ultimate goal of establishing sustainable and effective cloud infrastructure that meets both IT and Business needs.
As an expert advisor within Azure, you will work with various enterprise customers and act as a principal consultant. In a project setting, this means supporting and providing guidance at any point of the implementation process, from proposal to delivery.
Job Description
Required Experience
Do you have:
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure on an IaaS and PaaS level
- Good knowledge of IT infrastructure (e.g. networks, firewalls, load balancers, virtual machines)
- Experience working with Azure administration and security (e.g. Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Defender and Azure Policy)
- Knowledge of one or more scripting languages (e.g. Powershell, Bash, Python)
- Experience with Azure DevOps and infrastructure as code (e.g. ARM, Bicep or Terraform)
And also maybe:
- Experience within any orchestration platform (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker Swarm or Service Fabric)
- A good understanding of cloud adoption and migration
- Microsoft certifications in cloud, security or O365
